Global leaders gather in Thailand to reimagine equitable education

This October, Thailand will play host to a pivotal global event as policymakers, education experts, and stakeholders from around the world come together for the 3rd International Conference on Equitable Education. Under the theme ‘Reimagining Education, Co-Creating Lifelong Learning for Youth and Adults’, the conference, also known as the All for Education (AFE) Conference, will take place on 18-19 October 2024 at the IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani.
Organised by the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) Thailand and its partners, the conference aims to address one of the most pressing global challenges: how to ensure equitable access to quality education for all, particularly for underprivileged children and marginalised youth. At a time when flexible learning pathways and decentralised education models are becoming more critical than ever, the event promises to deliver actionable insights and practical recommendations on fostering lifelong learning and empowering young people.
The agenda will focus on key themes such as skills development, supporting mechanisms for marginalised groups, and decentralised education to improve monitoring and evaluation systems. A particular emphasis will be placed on addressing the challenges faced by NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), ensuring they are equipped with the skills and opportunities to thrive.
Delegates will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore innovations that promote equity-based education. Participants from government agencies, NGOs, academia, civil society, and the private sector are invited to join the discussions and contribute to shaping a more inclusive global education system.
Certificates will be awarded to those who complete the two-day event, which will feature sessions in English, Thai, and sign language.
